Brief description of the Project
The main task in making the social and economic evaluation of the metro system is the overall analysis of all relevant aspects of development of the metro system and its implementation in the overall public transport system in Belgrade.
Social and economic evaluation of the overall concept of the metro system has been made in two stages, the evaluation of the concept of the system and the assessment of economic performances of the system.
Starting from the definition of the overall concept of the metro system, we have begun to calculate transport indicators of the public passenger transport system to which a new sub system – metro is introduced.
Calculations of the indicators have been made with the program package VISUM, with which the modelling of the overall system has been made for typical cut off dates.
